How do I clean my block printed textile (pillow, napkins, table runner, throw)?
All our block printed textiles are professionally washed at an organic dry cleaner, so they arrive to you freshly laundered. At home, we suggest washing in cold water, either by hand or using the delicates cycle setting on your machine and with a ph-neutral soap. If washing in the machine for the first time, please wash separately or with like colors and use gentle detergent. Some dyes may bleed the first few washings Line dry or lay flat to dry, iron if needed. Our block printed table linens are preshrunk so you can throw those in the dryer if you'd like.
Some dyes are slightly stiffer upon printing, but will soften up quickly with wear.
How do I wash my indigo textile?
Natural indigo will bleed the first few washings, so we suggest washing separately or with like colors in cold water with gentle soap. Avoid prolonged exposure to the sun (to avoid fading) and rubbing against white fabrics.
Will my natural dyed textile bleed?
We want our textiles to be as usable as possible and try our best to ensure they are colorfast. This is complicated by the use of natural dye and we recommend not wearing your bandanas or scarves in heavy rain with light colored clothing.
How do I take care of my wool rug?
Your rug is shipped to you rolled. It will flatten out with use. Walking on it and vacuuming help speed up the process. Also, please note that some initial shedding is common for wool rugs. This will stop over time with use and care. Spot clean as needed and vacuum regularly. Shake it out occasionally. Dry clean for more serious stains.
Do I need a rug pad?
We like using them for extra support and stability. We highly recommend the Gorilla Grip Original Felt + Rubber Underside Gripper Area Rug Pad.
Will my textile look exactly like the online photo?
All of our textiles are made by hand, so small variations are expected and to be celebrated. If you have any questions about a specific product, please do not hesitate to e-mail us!
Do you offer gift wrapping?
If you're buying one of our textiles as a gift, you can leave a note for the recipient in the "Special Instructions" box when you check out. We'll hand write your message on a SUNDAY/MONDAY note card.
Our bandanas, scarves, napkins, and table runners come to you tucked into a hand block printed pouch. If you order multiple products and would like each one to have a separate pouch, please include a note when placing your order or send us an e-mail. NOTE: We are out of pouches and unable to receive more from India right now due to Coronavirus. We apologize for any disappointment!
Are you accepting stockists?
Yes! Please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org with information about your shop and other brands you stock.
Can I buy a pillow without the insert?
Yes, of course! We understand that not everyone wants or needs a down pillow insert. Please use the contact form below or send us an e-mail at email@example.com.
Are you going to make kitchen towels?
Not at this time, but our oversized cloth napkins work well as kitchen towels or placemats!
Do you ship internationally?
Send us an e-mail and we can work it out!
